Peel will potato peeler and chop off end.

Chop up and boil in a pot until tender

Drain them and Mash them

Put butter and salt on them

And tell your kids what they are after they try them.
They are a mix between squash and potatoes. I have two boys that hate the texture of potatoes so they didn’t even try them, but my daughter had two bowlfuls of them.
